Hi!

I'm wondering have you guys saved the old topics from old forums?

There were many threads giving hints and suggestions on how to interpret the rules (and there were some open issues too) and since many of those never found their way into the official FAQ, is it possible to extract this information and share? I don't mean it's necessary to incorporate the threads into this new forum, but rather extract f.ex. the FAQ threads to one huge text file.

Thom addressed this in the thread Objections in the General Excelsior Forum. I have pasted in the appropriate paragraph. Hope it helps answer your question.

When I pulled the plug on the old site, we had made a download of it (at least as best I could). I have an extensive 3 gigs to sort through and maybe some of it will be there. I plan to go through these files when we have finished the new site. Anything I do not have is most definitely lost to the ether (if I used that analogy correctly).  I know that Lance sorted through old site pics and we had an impressive 310 pics from the old catalog that were rendered unusable. I will keep my fingers crossed and hope that many people will repost those.

and we've got the FAQ team with some stupidly good memories here too.  If anything bugs ya go ahead and ask again.  We'll nail em all down.

Thanks Topkick and PFC Joe.

I'm *SURE* I'll bug you guys with extremely annoying questions in the future as well and will be *MOST* certainly offering my opinions and interpretations whether asked or not.

Good to be back in the EE forums ... roof's changed and the walls look a bit different, but home it is anyways.
